Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. The program will provide accepted international physicians with the opportunity to attend the 11th Annual Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Symposium in Chicago, Illinois, USA. The Lurie Cancer Center will directly fund the awardees’ symposium registration fee and the majority of travel expenses required to attend the 3½ day symposium.

The Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Symposium is an annual professional educational event which draws approximately 800 clinicians to hear recent clinical and scientific advances in breast cancer research from thought leaders from around the globe. This program is an unrivaled opportunity for the Chicago Sister Cities Medical Initiative to collaborate with a world renowned cancer center, to meet a growing roster of experts from around the world, and to learn about practical patient care strategies and the exciting possibilities of breast cancer research.

  • To provide an intimate forum of learning and networking amongst peers in the field of breast cancer.
  • To offer a unique perspective to international physicians on how breast cancer treatment options are developed and implemented.
